ok let me sum this up for you guys cuz i was on a methadone program before, methadone is given out in the use to people with serious opiate addiction like me for instant i was on the program to wing off of heroine. that is the point of it but there is some people that will be taking it for the rest of there lives. methadone is just as powerful as heroine. most people on the program just use both drugs any ways. and methadone is a different type of opiate intganest then heroine. thats it.
