I'm just tired of the punchline flow. Use it on a couple songs here and there,
but not every song. It just gets old, real quick.

I mean, the second
verse of 30 Minutes To New Orleans..., I don't even have anything to say about
that. The only good part of that song was what we had already heard.

Yea I totally agree w/ the 30 minutes to no song but then again refering back to my first post, what is he basically talking about in this song?

none of us know his personal life but I dont think him smoking weed is getting in the way of his parenting so i disagree with those people too. However IF he had a drug problem and he started neglecting all his kids, I personally would rather him deal with and fix that for their sakes at the cost of us not getting music from him for a while. Thats just me

Basically I think what people are saying by change is this: We want Wayne to grow more as a rapper. He's already one of the top rappers in the game right now, but how is he going to stay there? If you go through all his albums and mixtapes, he's constantly growing and evolving; changing his flow or diction. Now had he stayed with the same exact flow as his first album, would he be as big as he is now? Could be but I doubt it. I personally would like to hear Wayne on a track in which is he isn't high on, just to see what he can do with it. Part of us wanting Wayne to change is the same as him wanting to experiment with the "rock" sound. He did it because he wanted to evolve more as an artist.

I agree that his one line raps are a little repetitive and can hurt a song that had the potential to be great, simply because we have heard it so many times in so may forms. If you really sit back and listen to his music, especially lately, he repeats subjects or even parts of older songs (like in Bill Gates, Popular, etc.) a lot. One thing that I think we are love is that Wayne puts out song after song, but the only down side of this is that he isn't changing up his flow for each song; therefore, sounding repetitive.
