A lot of times experimental albums get bad reviews, just kind of the way it is... Plus it's heavily auto-tuned and most people get criticized for that unless they're named T-Pain

Well. The amount of peole I know who did not listen to Wayne and hated rock music before they heard Rebirth is large.

TBH I dont care about what so called rock fans would think of Rebirth. Most of them just listen to emo dudes cryiong about girlfriends and shit.
Tbh Rebirth is more like rock albums from back in the days in that it is different.

unfortunatley some people do. and low reviews result in bad album sales. i wanted rebirth to go platinum but isnt plausible

i liked rebirth. but thats just it, i liked it.. didn't LOVE it. weezy did a good job on it but that doesn't mean im looking forward to a Rebirth II

at first the album wasnt that appealing to me and it sounded mediocre. i came back to it today and i listened to the tracks again and the album actually is pretty dope. imo its one of waynes most lyrical albums. i dont understand whatsoever why the critics slammed the album. it only had 2 bad songs, price is wrong and get a life. seriously critics need to listen to the album again and look more into the lyrics and how much effort wayne put into this album. its one of waynes best and no matter what people say its great!

my fav tracks:
- drop the world (best off the album)
- on fire (gives me a synth rock feel)
- prom queen (love the auto tune effect)
- paradise (the lyrics are amazing)
- one way trip (decent punchlines)
- knockout (amazing production)

and i think he shud have included hot revolver on the track and saved like "on fire" or drop the world for c4.

most of it was just of autotune and stupid lines

if you want lyrical... go listen to Tha Carter series and the first two dedication mixtapes
