    Oh hai everyone!

    Soooo. Today's thread is about the first album of the series; Tha Carter.

    Personally, I believe this album is truly underrated.. along with C2 it is the only Wayne album I can listen from start to finish without skipping any track and truly enjoy every moment of it. Well.. minus the interlude and skit shits whatever.. I've noticed that in most people's list in "Rank C1-4" threads, C1 often ended at the bottom of the list which is sorta unfortunate IMO. Also, I notice that there is barely any talk about that album on this forums, which is also unfortunate because it's an amazing album. Wayne's flow and lyrics are amazing and so are the beats. Mannie Freshhhhhhhh

    i dont understand the c4 > c1 talk.

    the lyrics. the songs. the flows. classic records.
    and i mean. mannie fresh went so in on those beats.
    we havent heard wayne on a unified sound since mannie.

    idk. i dont get it.

    wayne and mannie need to link up again tho. thats for sure.
    at least for an ep. like eight songs. and id be straight.

      I like how C1 has Mannie Fresh beats, but,

      IMO Wayne's flow was still in development, like it was more generic. He really came into himself more for C2 and like father like son. Not sure if this is a little off track, but come on, when Wayne recorded C1 he was far from capable of recording anything like you aint got nothin on me

      And lyrically, (still just my opinion) the C1 Wayne was just not capable of a track like she will (I fucking love that song, more-so than anything on C1). Also when Wayne was making C4 he had/has the status to reach out to a ton of producers anyway.

                      Tha Carter Is Tha Best Raw Rapping Wayne... It's only Like 2 Questionable Songs. Rapping Wise This Is His Best... I Compare Tha Carter To Wen Jordan Was Scoring 40 a Game in Tha 80's but never got a ring...
