C1 is my second favorite Weezy album behind C2 of course. First of all Mannie Fresh is just sick with producing and his beats are incredible, and of course Wayne just snapped on every single track on C1. Wayne really stepped his flow up from his previous work and his lyrics were just mean as hell. I still listen to every song off this album without getting tired of it.
Favorite tracks are:
This Is The carter
Hoes
Snitch
We don't
Miss My Dawgs
IMO Wayne's flow was still in development, like it was more generic. He really came into himself more for C2 and like father like son. Not sure if this is a little off track, but come on, when Wayne recorded C1 he was far from capable of recording anything like you aint got nothin on me
And lyrically, (still just my opinion) the C1 Wayne was just not capable of a track like she will (I fucking love that song, more-so than anything on C1). Also when Wayne was making C4 he had/has the status to reach out to a ton of producers anyway.
i think c1 was more the first level of mastery than development.
rhymes were literally falling of each other on c1. he was putting words.
right where they needed to go to keep a perfect flow.
its like he had his flow on a string was doing whatever he wanted with it.
and he was certainly capable. the flows he used who wanna
(and really on the latter half of the album.)
allll go harder than that one.
lol. she will is a joke compared to the level of rapping on c1. aint that a bitch>>>>>
and he couldve reached out. but he didnt.
cash money is cheap when it comes to production.
Haha, people dare compare C4 to C1? Put up atleast 500 Degreez or C3 to be fair. Man this is ridiculous. C1 still has rhymes I haven't comprehended, that's how lyrical it gets.

97% of that album is better than that song.
I won't even comment on the She Will statement
"Armed and dangerous, rich and famous, young and restless
Guns and stretchers
Cristal and dubs for breakfast
I just got one suggestion - none should test him
'Cause cuz get hectic; send one through your sons intestines
Glocks knock lungs from chests, you get the portrait?
Bodies piled up on porches, it won't be gorgeous"
Tha Carter >>>>>>>> Tha Carter III & IV. Shit ain't even close . She Will Ain't Shit Compared To Anything On Tha Carter. Only Album Wayne Has Better Than That Is Tha Carter II.
