  • Weezy's legacy

Where do you guys think Wayne will rank among the other greats when his career ends?

I really think he has been the icon of rap for the past 5 years and in my book might go down top 10 in about 5-10 years.

He will be remembered as one of the best, most successful, and most influential artists of this generation. He's pretty much a musical icon at this point.

Undoubtedly. He's going to be remembered as a great. Whether everyone agrees or not is something else entirely. Everybody doesn't agree on Biggie, Pac, Nas, and Jay now, but he'll surely be mentioned right along with them.

At some point, it's gonna be okay to have posters and pictures of him up on your wall. Niggaz won't look at you sideways. They'll say, "Oh, dat nigga Wayne! My poster better tho."

Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.

I wouldn't doubt it. I know it sounds horrible, but dying early probably helped Pac and Biggie's legacy, they never had the chance to fall off.

2pac I think would of been a superstar for a long ass time. But yes dying at a young age does help alot.

Yeah if he died after C3 he would have defo gone down as one of the greatest if not the best. And yea after his career he will defo be top 5 voted by most people. But in my eyes and thats all that matters to me is he is my favourite & the best and always will be... As someone else said the most influential artist of this generation for many different reasons.

And it's OK now to have a picutre of him on ya wall lol, not later. I got a 90 cm by 60 cm poster of him on my wall already...
