This is the only and last thread ever that will be needed to discuss lil wayne and his career. I maybe a 04-prejail wayne stan or anne.. whatever u whack kanye dic suckers r callin it these days but Im not biased. SO IF U EVER WANT TO SAY SHIT ABOUT WANT U BETTER PROVE ME WRONG HERE.
Now I have over 2400 lil wayne songs..even have a entire ipod just for wayne.. Im going to lay all this ish out.. like him or not, ur going to respect my argument cause everything i will say is true.. So buckle ur seat belts this maybe a long ride..Here we go:
From the carter to c3 he was a beast..I'm not saying he should be ranked higher than big, pac, jay, nas, nor is he a better lyricist than em, or some of the wu, or that he puts out meaningful shit like common or something.. Further Im not saying that he's put out better albums than ready to die, the chronic, illmatic, black album/reasonable doubt, or 36 chambers.
But during 04 to the time he went into jail no one could touch him.. He influenced the entire game and really changed how ppl release music (internet/mixtapes.. just recording more and more and actually releasing it..so i dont want to hear pac)
From 04 to the time he went to jail no one was really on his level.. Not jay - cuz what he was putting out was shit. The bb3 sucked. Kanye was doing his thing but not on waynes level, em sucked, nas disappeared.. No one was around.. He saved hip hop by keeping it relavent.
Further he really didn't get enough credit until like 07 when he dropped the da drought 3.. and still not saying that he really has an undeniable classic but a lot of the shit he's put out and in the amount of time he did it in was unreal..he's put out more music in a 3 yr span than ur favorite rapper did in their career and did it CONSISTENTLY. everything he put out was fire and on point.
The key word im stressing is consistency...he's lyrics were dope.. They werent mind blowing but they were dope and clever. Murdered ur favorite rapper on their own songs using their own styles..had a crazy FLOW..
Now after c3 he Fucked the devil got lazy and started to do things just for the money. he jumped on everyones song who asked him and put out whack bars on a lot of them esp from like 09 on..Wayne lost his hungry. He no longer wants/needs to prove anything.. Weez didnt have to try to get everone to listen to his music nor had to show that he had skills.. cuz everyone was on his nuts.. dont even try to act.. be4 the carter 3 dropped u know u were listen to his music dont even try to front phags. And because he no longer had to prove anything or show he was the best rapper alive.
He begain trying to force his rhymes..basically he ran out of steam.. he said everything a rapper could say in a career in 2000 plus songs and said it every which way u could.. some of his lines got played out by him and other rappers who started to copy him..so did his flow.. so he began to try to switch shit up and wwe all know that when artist try to change that shit never works.. Inb4jayz if u want ma old shit go buy my old albums..
If wayne didnt put out so much soo fast he would go down as one of the best ever undeniably.. Its just because he put out so much so fast a lot of ppl missed the majority of his shit and only think of him as lollipop.. and haters only hate when ppl become successful..

it was alright..was finding himself.. his southern tone and sound was mehh.. but remember he was 13.. nigga got signed at like 9..so for alittle dood talking about what he was saying with bg, juvi, turk, and cash money he did his thing.. he invented bling bling and sold millions of records.. already more popular and successful than most rappers and he didnt even hit his stride yet. MOSTLY GAVE IT THIS GRADE BECAUSE OF PLAT RECORDS AND DUE TO HIS AGE..
Sqad up1,2,3,4,5,6,7....GRADE 6
ALL released in the same yr..Wanye started to get away from that hot boy southern sound.. started to find his east coast inspired flow.. Most ppl dont even know what this shit is.. But bassically wayne rapping everthing that he had written down.. Start of him getting on that jay-z style of spitting stait from the dome. As a fan i can appreciate this, but if ur not a fan i can see why u havent listened/want to.. nothing really special here except volume..GRADE BECAUSE SOME OF IT WAS COOL.. A LOT WAS FREESTYLE AND IT WAS WHEN HE STARTED TO BECOME HIS OWN ARTIST AND NOT TRYING TO BE A HOT BOY

good album and nothing more..started to find that goat flow and lyricial style.. nothing amzaing but this is the album where his promise began to show.. best rapper alive maybe alittle premature but can see glimpses of him being a respectable artist..
Carter 2 GRADE SOLID 8.7...BEST EFFORT TO DATE
True signs of greatness.. most ppl actually think this is his best effort and his closest to a classic but hes gets better just hatters hate but its pretty good overall.. The cII is where all that best rapper alive shit starts to become a reality.. However this album was totally overlooked when it was released due to Wayne still being associated with the Hotboys/cash money... No one gave him respect but this is where he really started to deserve some credit..

Wanyes crush on jayz is shown.. JAYZ saw what was up....wanted to sign the kid cuz he could see his talent.. Just think of what could of been.. But I think it worked out best that he didnt go to the roc after all.

wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be but still and I repeat still was nowhere near agreat nor good album maybe okay but still not carter wrthy at all.. they should of took some songs from inhb and put them on civ and took some of the bonous tracks and put them on the album..buut like I said b4 ymcmb is all abiout the dolla.. album could of and should of been a lot better.
I respect that he basically recorded most of the album post jail but it didn't work..best parts of the album was having an intro outro and tracks where he didn't even rap.
But he tried to hard on the c4..trying to emulate the c3 somewha but it didn't work..but it really wasn't as bad as a lot say but it still was kinda weak for someoone who is suppose to be the best aliive
As a wayne stan he def fell off and fell off hard.. he's lazy and not interesting anymore..he but too much out to fast..ran out olf ish to say..
Now he tries way to hard to make his lyrics creative.. went overboard with his similies, metaphores, punchlines and it makes
me sick.. I won't listen to anything past go gettor or told y'all..that's what the c4 was suppose to sound like don't know where that carter 4 went but it neeeds to be found cuz they were both fire.
And for the nigga who said game was better than wayne go ask game who he thinks is better..waynes mixtapes are better than his whole discography u just a PHAG ass hater..
