10.000 was first released as a song. And yes, I think he wrote on 500 Degreez. Tha Carter was his first album where he did as now, accordin' to himself.

The 10,000 bars song was a full song. After Wayne said he's gonna stop writing he took his book that had ALOT of verses and just spitted them all on the mic while the music was on as a full song, but then they made it as a mixtape.


And as Abjreg said 500 degree Was written, most likely.
