Why could it shock you? Being a GOAT is not a public vote among hip hop community and shit, its based on impact... game changer.

if weezy ever becomes THE G.O.A.T then i'll be shocked, but it will stir up alot of controversy amongst rappers & fans.The only way weezy will be the goat is if he dies. I think if big l, big pun & biggie can become goats while having very very very short careers, then i guess wayne can be the goat.

Depends on what your perspective of what qualifies a rapper as a GOAT. ATM, if Wayne died (God forbid), I wouldn't even consider him near it IMO. 4 years of shitty quality (exluding a few features and No Ceilings) music and a downward spiral overall. There is no longer hunger.

Lyrics? You def. haven't hard C2 or lfls or been around the 2006 -2007 era. Wayne is (was) a lyrical monster.

I think Wayne is already gonna be called the G.O.A.T when he dies, even tho he's lacking around right now. I mean when he dies, ppl will start to look up his older music and shit and know who he really is.

Even though he had dope ass lyrics then, IMO even Wayne in C2 era lyrically doesn't stand up to people like Nas ect.
