Yeah he cut his braids in the early months of 2002, but his hair is kinda long in this vid so I'm thinking this video is from late '02 - early '03. This had to be after 500 Degreez. Lights Out was old by the time of this video

I could be wrong, but I think I remember that Wayne said (or I read somewhere) that if he liked the freestyle, he would go back and make it into a track. Kind of like he did with "Live From The 504". I'm sure this could be a similar case.

Both of them were prewritten. They're just freeverses. 98% of rappers today write freeverses for interviews/radio shows etc.
