I feel like Wayne is more respected in more urban areas that probably are more familiar with his older shit, but then in richer-whiter areas, they don't know of Wayne's older stuff, therefore hate everything about him.

i was a wayne stan back when i joined, but then it was just downhill from there and eventually he became way to commercial for me. Idk i just like jammin rappers old stuff, like when they were hungry, once they get famous, i lose intrest

Wayne is a love or hate type of person...Either people really Love him or really hate him....you have to understand who Wayne is to love his music imo...even though I think Wayne is an average rapper and a below average artist right now...because of who Wayne is, it intrigues me to keep an ear to what he is doing...it's almost like his music is just half of the reason why I'm fan of him..if that makes any sense...
