Wayne isn't a "new cat" Mentioning Wayne would have made absolutely zero since. Not a single person he mentioned has more than 3 albums. There's a lot of guys he could have mentioned Wayne, Kanye, Fab, He could have mentioned 50, Jadakiss, after that "King of New York" line. He mentioned dudes who were his competition, Wayne and the ones I mentioned have been in the game so long they aren't really viewed as competition for a new cat like Kendrick. All the dudes Kendrick mentioned are.

The fact that he didn't mention Wayne in the top rappers isn't a big deal either.. He didnt name Pac or Biggie.. really no big deal. I feel like Kendrick in a way dissed the dudes he didn't mention. Which would explain Joell Ortiz diss feeling that Kendrick didn't acknowledge him and why Lupe was feeling a lil salty earlier.
