Author clearly has only heard Wayne's radio singles.
He's saying those were intentional singles for radio play and that Wayne knew how to successfully make a single sound great and appeal to those worldwide, and how he was able to do it in nearly half the lyrics Eminem had to use.
Guess he's saying Wayne has the upper hand musically with how his singles sound

Article rating: 5 out of 10.
Has some good points, has some ridiculous points.
IMO, considering whole career Em = Wayne.
Em has a rough life, Wayne had a rough life.
Em is a better battle rapper, Wayne is capable of doing more genres, he is more versatile.
Both of these rappers have real songs. But Eminem made those songs singles and Wayne didn't, that's why Eminem is more popular and more appealing to rap listeners.
If Wayne made "How can something", "Something you forgot", "Cry out" singles.. He would have much less haters.. and he would be more appealing to rap listeners than he is now..

I agree, Wayne is more diverse, no doubt. That's what is great about him as an artist.
I don't think it's wrong to compare the two but I feel the author didn't highlight anything half decent to argue this. We all know Weezy has some incredible songs which are lyrically decent but he has purely pinned Weezy being a better MC just because he is a more diverse artist which is a ridiculous stance on how you should determine who you think the greatest MC alive is. Rap at it's purest is lyrics. Something which Eminem is the king of.
Lyrically they cannot be compared in my opinion. That's not to say they both weren't insane in their retrospective primes. We all know Weezys mixtape catalog is something that will go down as the greatest.Last edited by Wisheezy; 11-16-2013, 04:30 PM.

But on other points I completely agree..
Lyrically, they should not be compared. That's why I said Em = Wayne. Cause imo, they are both rap legends and both of them had their own path and they made it. Both of them fell off at certain point, and both of them are trying to get back on top.
