Has the YM and CM fallout been a long time coming?

Well we all know Birdman has been repping "Rich Gang" "RG" for a fair while now. He's been getting random artists to co-sign it, join the movement (thugga) but you never really saw Weezy co-sign it. At least not very much at all. No one else in YM really co-signed it that much either.

Has this friction really been a long time coming and the delay in C5 the last straw for Weezy? It seems Thugga is Birdmans new protege now.

They were obviously happy for a long time though (maybe not Tyga) but since like 2009/10 Birdman has almost started new brands and things almost as if he knew it was coming sooner or later. Vodka brand, RG clothing, Rich Gang music. I can't even remember the last time I saw a picture and Weezy together?

Probably a while like after we started seeing Birdman chilling with Thug all the time, and Wayne just around other people. Tyga was the straw the broke the camels back I guess. I'm real curious to see what Drake does, don't really care too much for Nicki but I think she will stay with Birdman.

It's such a funny situation Drake is put in. I know Bird is going to do everything in his power to get him to stay but ultimately it's his own decision. Funny to me how Young Thug is the only thing holding together CM and he's not official signed. He might as well be the way he's around Birdman all the time.

Pretty fucking intense stuff. T.I. was real slick signing Travi$ Scott to Hustle Gang, if Birdman keeps up this fuckery with artists like Jacquees you know T.I. is going to rise up as far as his power in the industry. It's been long held by Stunna and maybe for good reason it's now falling apart, every dog has his day and maybe all that bad karma is catching up to the Williams family.

Lord knows 50 Cent isn't going anywhere. The moves Dre has been making with the Beats headphones, no one is touching that. Jay-Z can't lose either. I see Ross as the most surprising out of all these cats though. MMG has really been untouchable in the past years. So who do we have left? Just T.I. really. IF he signs Wayne somehow it's over for Cash Money officially, might as well throw in the towel unless they have some sort of magic trick. Wayne and TIP have always been close, so I can see this happening too. Maybe they can scoop up Tyga, if they get Drake too it's 110% over. Imagine Travis producing them...

So yeah a lot to think about. Young Thug is strong but he's not really versatile, he just makes good trap music and with that accent I can't see him making anything different but he's been the hottest out so that's all that really matters in the end.

I think Drake will go with Weezy, no questions about that one for me. I think Tyga will come back if Weezy manages to get a label deal where Tyga can do his thing and still rep YM, we all know he and Wayne are still good friends

When Wayne said in the Weezy Wednesdays a while ago that he would drop a few albums in 2015. I think he meant it.
He tried to be slick and fill the contract.

Thats why he wanted to split C5 in parts. Cause it would fill his 5 album contract. IANAHB II and the Young Money album was already two.

The question is ,was birdmans intentions 20 years ago positive,in a way that was justifiable to the means in which they went about there business,in other words was wayne birdmans meal ticket that turned into a very dirty but highly successful movement in hip hop that is only being earthed out now. I mea obviously its a bit crude to say it was all a conspiracy , but we have to admit the world is a very crude place,and if the situation only turned sour recently, you would think that their relationship all those years ago, from when wayne was a small kid, would triumph over a petty dispute regarding mula, i mean wayne has 4 kids birdman got two, they are GROWN men, with all that history,i cant believe that birdman wanted to see his son blossom for the main reason of love.

Tbh when i first started really listening to the cash money movement i thought they were in it together(that being wayne baby and slim), they knew all the ways how to milk the industry for every last penny, but as a TEAM. If this is still true , i know there is a lawsuit involved but the possibility this is all a stunt isnt crazy(the situation we know is the one they want us to know) i mean they would have to be oscar award winning actors but you cant rule it out.

But if wayne has just been used all these years the main act in a circus, without racking my brains , his attitude when he left rikers could fit into that. A line that stayed in my head from that era is "im embarrassed of my past", we have to admit his whole persona was different ; his sobered mind may have de clouded the 'puppet'he was , further justifying i wont so decline in music but his priority to venture elsewehere ie skateboarding, whilst making some money in his name; trukfit , moutain dew etc but i mean the thing is its all speculation and we just dont know whats happened over the last 20 years behind them closed doors, but also remember wayne blew up before he grew up.
other possibilities is that wayne just bitching right now over spilled milk, maybe something did happen behind closed doors that has weakened his and babys relationship and wayne just throwing tantrums because hes relied heavily on his "team" for the financial aspect and is now realising times change and he hasnt got that experience to make important desicions.

But the truth is we can all theorise on what may have happened till the cows come home espicially about the fact he may have been used all this time for the benefit of birdman and if we looked hard enough we would probably find evidence and links as to where the cracks were opening but we really dont know whats been happening behind closed doors for the last 20 years and will probably never know, YM and everything else comes after this and his hard to really relate it to wayne and baby, tbh drake kept it professional possibly indicating the "family" is 100% business as chuckee stated but imo like i said before back when i first was looking at this movement i saw it as a business, the reason why im so throwed off is if wayne wasnt in on the joke that is truly sad,lol i mean idk its all just hazey tbh and its late and im tired after a long days work so peace.

Just one thing after another. It's crazy to think BM might have seen it coming and planned on it instead of trying to stop it. How the hell he could believe anyone could ever replace Wayne is beyond me. I really hope it's a new beginning for wayne though, CMs bullshit been dragging him down too long.

I hope if YM does get loose Tyga comes back, I also think a lot more people would be less hesitant to work with them if they started paying their damn bills.

Firstly, if Birdman hadn't been laying Wayne all these years, how has Wayne amassed a $140 million net worth? Do they have a joint checking acct or something?

I was reading a XXL cover on Birdman being th last true mogul, from like 2012. The title was false anyway, cause Jay, diddy, dre are all more accomplished moguls than Birdman.

Look at it. Who is the only person who has stuck with Birdman through everything? Wayne.

We know he fucked heavily with drugs from the Carter 1 onwards. My theory is, Wayne was fucked up during the period when everyone else was leaving CM, and was blind to it. He was being kept happy by baby and co feeding his addictions and ensuring he worked his ass off.

Things probably changed after carter IV. Wayne was sober, and sold nearly a million in a week. If he didn't see any money from that, all of sudden he is asking where the fuck is my money and what is going on?

Of course, contradicting this theory is the fact that Wayne then went and signed a new contract (in 2013 I think?)

I don't see how Birdman could keep anyone on his label if he isn't paying them.. I don't understand that
