I can't believe we have people questioning if Carter 3 is a classic or not in 2017. I'm fuckin done. The album is one of the best hip hop albums of all time fr. The numbers it sold. Like cmon. Just the hype and buzz around it is classic.

Lmao it’s not by far .....
And you’re right.... the hype and buzz is what was classic about it ...... not the actual album

This is no knock against C4 cus I do think it is underrated because there are plenty of great songs on here where Wayne is spittin some fuckin bars... MegaMan, Nightmares of The Bottom, Blunt Blowin.. and I think President Carter is one of Wayne's most underrated songs of all time. But if he took some songs out and the interludes with him not featured on em.. and stuck We Back Soon, Red Rum, Dear Anne in there it woulda changed I think everyone's perception of the album fr fr. I still say C4 > FWA btw.
C4 Is Already A Classic As It Is

I want a legit answer on how Carter 3 isnt a classic. It's honestly mind blowing that I can go outside ask a random person off the street if they think Carter 3 is a classic album and classic time in hip hop and they will agree. Hell most people who aren't Wayne stans like us say Carter 3 is his best album without thinking about Carter 2 or 1 first. So please tell me how it isn't classic because many people who are not even fans agree it is classic and so many rappers in the music business agree it is a classic album as well. I mean there isn't a bad fuckin song on the album what is the issue..? Just because it wasn't as good as C2 or C3 sessions? Like I don't get it. Even the really commercial songs like Lollipop, Ms. Officer & Got Money were great and classic songs. If your gonna sit here and tell me just because ya didn't like Phone Home or something and that didn't make you like the album or disregard it as a classic then idk what to tell you. That album is great, and yes it is easily a top 30 hip hop album of all time.

Both c3 as an album and c3 sessions if made as an album are classics, I dont get why anyone is questioning it

Yea I don't get it... what's even crazier is we have people on here saying FWA is better then C3 like wtf are y'all on... only on lilwaynehq will you ever hear someone say something so ignorant like that. I loved FWA probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite release that year behind Dirty Sprite 2 & If You're Reading This It's Too Late, but never out of all times of listening to it did it ever cross my mind maybe this is better then C3. Never, and it's not even close. People say "he rapped better on it" okay tell me a song on FWA that is better lyrically then Let The Beat Build, Dr. Carter or even the intro 3 Peat.? People be buggin.
