Exactly, sonically C4 is almost as good as it’s gets as far as voice, mixing, and production. To me it’s the lyrics that fall short. But even then has at least 4 songs that are dam near classic

hahahaha no seriously tho dude i couldnt agree more. everyone always yells at me cuz i bring up how waynes voice is now.. but for me personally being a wayne fan since forever, his voice is just horrifying to me now dude. it is SO high pitched you're 100% correct it literally sounds like he's trying to imitate young thug constantly. it's very frustrating because songs like 'spend it' remix prove that he still can use his normal voice whenever he wants to but is for some fucking reason choosing not to. all i want is for him to lower his pitch & chill with the autotune for a little bit & i'd be thrilled.

It might be the worst Carter but it's still fire. Many quotables littered throuought. Jail slowed his flow down and trap music was big at the time so that probably influenced it too.

Now I want to go listen to it again haha

i quite like IANAHB1 these days pretty solid bangers waynes confidence and style is nice i feel its a happy medium between the off-the-wall wild ness of C3-DA DROUGHT 3 and the "punchline" style of NC1, C4

IANAHB1 is literally the embodiment of YOUNG THUG entire musical catalogue there was a remix young thug did years ago over the right above it beat its cleaned off the internet now i cant find it anywhere but he was sounding identical to wayne and all he did past that was turn up the pitch on his voice by a couple digits

I agree, it is a strong album with a lot of songs that have radio potential. I liked the 09-10 era where his style was "everything at once" and not just one by one like we got post-jail.
