There was a drastic quality difference between the loosies and IANAHB. His 2008-09 flow and lyrical ability was arguably peaking. It's one of my favorite Wayne eras, second only to 2007-08 DD3/C3 sessions/C3 Wayne. It's really unfortunate that nothing -- not even a proper mixtape -- ever captured that period. D3 kind of does, but that's a flawed tape.

He was so unhinged but still transcending the game. His confidence was off the charts. Listen to told y'all, demolition 1 & 2, 30 secs to NO, etc. I love that phase. It was like if C3 drank 4 Red Bulls.

Also let's not forget Yeahhh. That was more rock oriented -- maybe even a Rebirth outtake -- but his rhyming and flow was fucking fire. No true Wayne can deny that. I used to use Yeahhh as my OG C4 intro on my custom tape.

And back to the original point: if anyone doubts the quality difference between this period and the IANAHB period shortly after it, just listen to IANAHB title track OG version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUUKsUTfyxc

vs. the released version, which is just boring compared to it. Maybe he was getting nervous about prison. Lost his mojo.

IANAHB was the true point he fell off, but he was able to still ride high on punch lines and hype and popularity. C4 only confirmed it. (sorry for the wait 1 and 6'7 were bright spots in the middle)

Keep in mind he was talking about OG C4. Still doubt it would've been life changing though lol

                  No Quitter though pure perfection.

Damn bruh sorry just really need to take a second to appreciate the Kiss Land aesthetic. Unrelated to Weezy, but easily most underrated and disrespected albums despite being possibly his best to date.
