Re: When Did You Realize Wayne Was The Best ?

I realized it a few times ago because there are rappers I reaaly like like Method Man, Snoop, Jay z Redman & many others and I was like " Wayne is really good but he wouldn't make it for a long time"
but he's dropping more and more kick ass songs so now I really think he's the best rapper alive and the 2n Best Rapper Dead or Alive (Sorry Biggie but you've been surpassed).

To me Pac is still the one but Weezy gonna change it.

2pac = American rapper who has sold 75 million albums to date and is one of the best-selling music artists in the world. In addition to his status as a top-selling recording artist, Shakur was a promising actor and a social activist. Most of Shakur's songs are about growing up amid violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, problems in society and conflicts with other rappers. Shakur's work is known for advocating egalitarianism.

I first heard songs with other artist like akon etc. Than I started to search songs from Weezy and than I found up that he is the best rapper.
I have every song now from him.
You tought that wayne is Weezy?
                But Weezy is Wayne!
                !

Re: When Did You Realize Wayne Was The Best ?

I've always been a fan of Lil Wayne's music and all, but I cant put him as the best that ever hit the rap scene,
                    you can't leave out
                    2Pac
                    Biggie
                    Jay Z(HOVA)
                    Big L
                    Big Pun
                    Eminem
Those guys above shaped today's rap music and brought out the best joints around, not to mention Em and Pac selling over 75 million albums in a decade.

Maybe I'll list Wayne in top 10 when he reaches his peak (I know he can do better then C3).

Re: When Did You Realize Wayne Was The Best ?

as soon as i fully listened to Tha Carter 3 and Da Drought 3 and really caught all of his one liners. The songs that really got me are "Let The Beat Build", "Upgrade U", and "U Aint Got Nuthin"
