I agree his prime he is top 5 easily....but his career top 30.....
How can we deny a reign that long because he fell off? I think it's unfair. He did more in those years than most people's careers. If he died 08 we wouldn't be discussing this, and I don't think someone needs to die to be honored. Everyone falls off, gets lazy, whatever...

15 years ago he was a 14 year old kid...Wayne's kind of an anomoly. I don't think it's gotta be as black and white as his entire career.

When I listen to a song from the self proclaimed "best rapper alive" I'm not looking for stupid wordplay n shit. Tupac didn't have some kind of songs with crazy mindfuck wordplay and shit, but he was concentrated more on telling a story and expressing himself, that's why people loved him. You think I give a fuck about some play with numbers? Naw.
pac didnt really have a flow on a lot of his albums is the thing he had a problem of rambling sometimes
Also no rap artist will ever have as big of a impact on music then 2pac did. His songs still continue to resonate with the world almost 20 years after his death and that is why he is the greatest.

Bro, Wayne is one of the most inconsistent artist of all time.......yall give Wayne too much credit for 5 good years in the rap game......all of his stuff before carter I and after carter III was average at best.......in the grand scheme of things Wayne can't even be considered top 30 of all time.....and Wayne can get boring also...you have to look at both sides of the spectrum......even though he is my fav of all time....he is no where near the best rapper or even close......there was a time when he could've gotten there but he became horribly inconsistent.
Yeah it was 5 years, but Wayne gave us music worth at least a decade.
C2 & C3 can be considered as classic hip hop albums.
Not forgetting how dope C1 was.
No one can forget the king of mixtapes, Wayne gave us the best mixtapes ever. Don't tell me anyone did better than Wayne as mixtapes, quality & quantity together.
And that's without thinking about the leaked songs that where Amazing songs!
Wayne in those 5 years gave us what no other rapper could, so being thankful is the least we can do.
