  • Drake & Wayne Make Super Bowl Predictions.

Who are you guys rocking with this year?

Backstage at the Grammy Awards, artists were milling about — some greeting one another, some in their dressing rooms getting ready to take the stage. Lil Wayne and Drake, meanwhile, were as calm as if they were sitting in Weezy’s Miami condo watching “SportsCenter.”

Drake brought up Sunday’s Super Bowl: “You excited about it?” he asked Wayne.

“I’m a Brett Favre fan,” Wayne said of the Minnesota Vikings quarterback, who was knocked out of the running by the New Orleans Saints in the NFC championship game. “Football season ended for me [two weeks ago].”

We caught up with Weezy late last month, days before the Vikings were edged out by the Saints, and he was pulling for Minnesota to come out on top. “I’m rooting for Brett because I’m a die-hard,” Weezy told MTV News. “I believe the Vikings will win because of the running attack. The Saints give up about 150 rushing yards a game, and the Vikings have arguably the best running back in the game [Adrian Peterson]. … I believe the Vikings defense will frustrate [Saints quarterback Drew] Brees.”

While some N.O. residents were upset about Wayne going against his hometown, let’s not forget that Favre is from right around the corner, in the city of Kiln, Mississippi, less than a two-hour drive away.

Backstage at the Grammys, Weezy told Drizzy that he was still on the fence about attending the Super Bowl in Miami, where he now lives. “I may still go, though,” he said. ” ‘Cause it is New Orleans in there. … If they win it and [there], that’ll be right. At least I get to say I saw it.”

When DJ Scoob Doo asked Drake who he thought would win, the Toronto native gave it up to the Black and Gold.

“New Orleans [is] playing with heart, man,” Drake said.

“Yeah, I want New Orleans to win,” Wayne chimed in. “They playing with a lot of heart. Saints gonna win.”

A few days prior to the Grammys, Wayne was in an Atlanta studio with Playaz Circle’s Tity Boi and Young Money members Short Dawg and Gudda Gudda shooting footage for Weezy and Scoob Doo’s next installment in “The Nino Brown Story” DVD series. Gudda, also a New Orleans native, thought Peyton Manning and his squad from Indianapolis would pull it out.

“I love my city. I love the Saints,” Gudda clarified. “But I been rocking with the Colts for years. I got 20 racks on the Colts.”
