Malice Speaks On Former Lil Wayne Beef

Malice, one-half of the Hip Hop duo The Clipse, recently spoke on his past issues with rapper Lil Wayne and how he has moved past them. “We was getting money with Cash Money with ‘What Happened To That Boy?’ We were in New Orleans and we shot the video and we were hanging out and we were close at one time,” Malice explained to HipHopGame.com. “It’s just unfortunate that it had happened. I think the streets were talking and I think Wayne probably felt like we were saying it but anybody that knows The Clipse or knows anything about us, you see our etiquette and how we roll.” Malice then went on to reveal he has no issues with Wayne and that he’s a fan of his music.

So, what's your opinion about this?

I guess hiphopgame interviewed Malice on 3/16. It's now clear that Malice has no problems with Wayne and is a fan for his music. Hopefully when Wayne gets out they could possibly make another collab together.

I don't think its smart for anyone to have beef with wayne at this point in his career-- lets be honest, whether your a fan or not, you have to agree that wayne has all the power and influence in hip hop right now- plain and simple. I would not want to be a rapper in the game who is on wayne's bad side, because he is a VERY powerful enemy to have, and an instant hit to collab with. I think malice made a wise decision clearing the air of all beef.

The man was clearing up rumors, nothing more. Wayne is big how? He's going to fuckin' jail there's nothing big about him. This is when he's gonna be his quietest. Now should be the time to attack him, if not, de-friend him. You all act like Lil' Wayne didn't use to be big, he's always been big.

And another thing, stop the whole "everyone wants to be on wayne's dick." Unlike most people in the game, Lil' Wayne starts beef with noone, and I think he likes to keep it that way. Noone OTHER THAN MALICE has said anything about Wayne, as far as beef goes. Most people support Lil' Wayne like they did with T.I. everyone is tellin' him to hold his head and know they got his back out here even while he's in jail. When a rapper goes to jail it has nothing to do with rap, this is real life shit, entertainment is out the window, show support yo.

I remember the beef a while ago. I felt that Clispe was keepin it real.
It was kinda durring the Carter ll phase. They were accusing Wayne of swagger-jacking they're adlibs and the BAPE sweaters.
