Trust me. I didn't even really know him before, neither did anyone I know.
He was big in the hip-hop community, but he's went from a rapstar, to rockstar, to superstar, to now megastar.
9/10 people in the schools around here know Lil Wayne, and like at least one of his songs

If he does that, I hope he doesn't start freestyling but actually putting in hooks into this. Shit this C4 stuff is such a delicate thing. Everyones gott there own opinion on what it should be.

Yeah, Like around Tupac's era. This is what happened. Everybody watched him closely to see what would he do next. 2Pac blessed us with All Eyez On Me: a two-disc classic. Right after he got locked up, at Riker's Island if I recall ironically. And it went multi-platinum. Can't imagine Carter IV. But what influences my expectations are those rumors, that he finished C4 years ago. Unless it's just the "director's cut".

the last hiphop to go platinum in a week before C3 was 2001's(?) 50's get rich or die tryin'.
jay z put out 2-3(?) albums within tha 7 year period of time, as well as eminem releasing of "encore".

so yes, it is very possible that Wayne will push a million.
he just has to win back the mainstream-only fans now for the rebirth debacle.

C4 might be a better album sonically but I don't think his raps are gonna be at the same level. (from his recent verses). Carter 3 will be his only album to go platinum in a week. I think Drake is gonna do a million becuz right now more ppl fuck with Drake than with Wayne..ONce Drake drops that single and it hits number one....He straight....800k -1mil......Carter 4......i say 600k-700k....

C4 is doing anywhere around 750k-1.2 million
