Young Money’s 17-year-old rapper Lil Twist dropped by the Rap-Up Lounge last month. In between tweeting his 225,000+ followers on his iPad, Weezy’s little brother discussed his affiliation with hip-hop’s hottest crew, how he met Lil Wayne, and introducing Lil Tunechi to the Internet.
“I [brought] Lil Wayne to the Internet, to the web. I’m responsible,” he told Rap-Up TV. “First he was ripping and raving about, ‘I’m never gonna get a Twitter, that’s so dumb.’ The next couple of months or so, he was like, ‘Yo little bro, set me up with Twitter.’”
The mohawked teen, who will appear on Tha Carter IV, says he heard the highly-anticipated album before Wayne started serving his time behind bars. He also shared his relationship with Drake and spilled details on his forthcoming debut, which is set to feature appearances from Drizzy, Weezy, Nicki Minaj, Sean Kingston, and Justin Bieber. “I’m like his big bro,” he said of the pop sensation.
And what’s this about a dream collaboration with country crooner Taylor Swift? “I think me and Taylor Swift could come up with a nice Bonnie and Clyde song,” he revealed.
