Young Money affiliate Nicki Minaj will be joining crew leader Lil Wayne on tour this summer, along with Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy and Drake.
Minaj, who has yet to sign to any label, will be supporting her mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty. In a press release the XXL Show and Prove alum said she is looking foward to getting on stage with Weezy and company. “It’s been hectic for the last couple of months, with me promoting my mixtape and being back in the studio, but I’m definitely excited and looking forward to getting back on the road with Young Money,” she shared. “They’re Family”
Unfortunately, family member Drake, who was originally scheduled to perform his own 30-minute set during the tour, will have to cut his time onstage short due to a recent knee injury, according to MTV News.
Young Money Presents: The America’s Most Wanted Music Festival kicks off tonight at Scranton, PA’s Toyota Pavillion and is set to hit major cities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Fans can get a complete list of show dates and purchase tickets on www.ticketmaster.com.
