Before Lil Wayne went to jail he told me, “When I’m gone, I don’t want my fans to feel like they miss me.” So he gave me The Carter IV before he went in- 20-something songs. Gee and I listened to them, but as time went one- I talk to Wayne everyday- it inspired me that he’d been writing inside. So I decided I wanna brand Carter IV as that Wayne the world’s been waiting to hear. It’s now gonna be all fresh-out-of jail material .The Carter Brand is so large I wanna make sure we don’t go backwards.

yea, i would still like to hear all of the original C4 material. and this would also mean even more of a delay until C4 is released, which prob wont be till 2012 now.

More C4 delay -That sucks. -BUT when we get the album, then it's for sure gonna be fuckin epic!! -and no, we don't have to wait till 2012. -Wayne work all day and most of the time, over night too. -and when he gets out of jail, he will record twice as much, because he hasn't recorded in so long so probely summer 2011 we gon have it

not really a delay since we'll be getting most of the songs wayne recorded for C4 originally

but i guess we'll get songs with "deeper lyrics" on C4
