It's not like they stopped feeding him, he is jus confined to a room for 23 hours, it sucks major dick but that's what he gets for carrying a pistol in NYC, he learned his lessons and hopefully this is something he won't have to deal with again.

I could do solitary as long as I had a 360,DVD player,40 inch tv,and a gamefly and netflix subscription. keep me in there and throw away the key.some porn would help too,but i can use my imagination. Lol
