I Am Not a Human Being first-week Physical sales of 85-90k, making it a probable #1

The physical version of Lil Wayne’s Cash Money/Universal Motown effort, I Am Not a Human Being, hit retail yesterday, and is on its way to first-week sales of 85-90k, making it a probable #1 on next Tuesday’s HITS Album sales chart.

That’s based on those music retailers who haven’t been trapped in a Chilean coal mine for the last two months.

The new, physical edition of Weezy’s album includes 13 tracks, while the previous online version had 10. In two weeks, Lil Wayne has sold more than 130k downloads in one of the more curious release roll-outs in an increasingly fragmented marketplace. Meanwhile, the rapper himself is locked up in solitary confinement at N.Y.’s notorious Rikers Island after being caught with audio equipment in his cell, but is slated to be released Nov. 5.

If thats 90k just physicals, it'll surely still sell a good 50-70k downloads on top of that no?

im surprised people are gonna buy the physical copy. By now either people bought it from itunes or downloaded it. Anybody buying the hard copy must be doing it to show support to Weezy

they said 95k with the digitally and it did 110k
This week there saying 90k but it's gonna do over 100k

By the end of the year wayne will have sold over 1 million records while in jail.

I bought the digital the day it was released because I wanted the album, but I bought the hardcopy off Amazon the day that released just to support Weezy. Really, I bought both of them to support Wayne, I could have just downloaded it for free lol.
