It doesn’t feel like Lil Wayne has been away all that long does it? But he has been in jail for a total of eight months. Sure, we’ve heard new music, seen a few videos and been reminded that Lil Wayne still exists with every other news story on every other website. But the music industry without Lil Wayne is like the Patriots Vikings Titans without Randy Moss – a wee bit boring. But now that Weezy F. Baby is home, there are going to be people that rejoice and those that grimace. We’ve compiled a list of those very artists who are either excited or upset that Lil Wayne is out of jail.
Reason: Drake and Lil Wayne make some great music together. And considering that Weezy is partially responsible for Drake’s success, it only makes sense that Aubrey Graham would be excited to see the man he feels he owes a lot to out of the clink. Expect 147308147833 collaborations.
2) The Rest Of Young Money

Reason: Let’s be real, outside of Nicki Minaj and Drake, Young Moolah needs Lil Wayne like the Cleveland Cavaliers needed LeBron James. Unfortunately for Cavs fans, they are more likely to see Weezy in a Cavs jersey (throwback LeBron) before they’ll see King James in one.
3) Juelz Santana

Reason: Now about that I Can’t Feel My Face album….
4) T-Pain

Reason: Put the I Can’t Feel My Face album on hold. Now about that T-Wayne album…
5) Bill Clinton

Reason: Bill Clinton was “excited” as anyone that Lil Wayne was going to be released from jail. Almost as excited as he was for McDonalds bringing back the McRib (but not so excited that the Democrats lost the House). Unfortunately, Bill Clinton is still wondering where Big Wayne is.

Reason: She’s certainly happy that her daughter will get to see daddy again. But it had to be a fun ride being increasingly more popular with your ex behind bars. Now that he’s home, no need for another season “Tiny & Toya.” Unless the one of their significant others goes back to jail. You’re wish is the law’s command!
2) Bangladesh

Reason: Because he still hasn’t been paid off of “A Milli.” Every single moment Wayne walks on this earth he has to be reminded that the biggest song he’s ever produced has only given his pockets elephant ears. At least he was able to snag other producing opportunities. But boy, that “A Milli” check would be nice right about now.
3) 50 Cent

Reason: He’s been trying to get Lil Wayne to beef with him for a few years now. Nothing is worse than being ignored, especially when your antics beg for attention. How long do you think it will be before 50 Cent begins dissing Wayne on Twitter? The over/under for us is before Thanksgiving.
4) Kanye West

Reason: It’s been all about Kanye West for the past few months. We know that Yeezy doesn’t like to share the spotlight very much. As much as he claims to like Lil Wayne, the competitive spirit that Kanye has wishes that Wayne could have stayed locked up until after he drops his album. We’re sure he’s not feeling that Wayne getting out of jail is getting more attention than he is right about now. We’re not sure that Kanye appreciates any story getting more attention than him. He did compare the Taylor Swift incident to George Bush ignoring Hurricane Katrina.
5) T.I.

Reason: Because now he has to go back in *plays Usher’s “Trading Places”*.
