I think lasagna works better because it fits a double meaning: 1. the g is silent (or close enough, wayne doesn't care about grammar nazi's obviously) and 2. real G's, as in lasagna eating italians, are silent with a big plate of lasagna in front of them.

3. I don't want to get laugh out of the room here, but a third meaning could be that Real G's would be silent if the laugh was on them. The ole stale face. "Lolz on ya."
