Strong said the laptop was outfitted with a tracking device and officers were able to follow its signal to a home in the 1900 block of Bryce Road in South El Monte.
At the home, police found the stolen items and arrested Marco Negrete, 20, on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property.

He didnt get "robbed" technically. But the items were recovered.
