Lil Wayne does it again! Shows up late for festival, plays just 15 minutes

It's the second time this month that the rapper has cut his set short.

Lil Wayne has again left fans disappointed after rocking up to a festival set an hour late and performing for just 15 minutes.

The rapper was meant to headline at the 2023 Metro Metro Festival on May 19, where he was poised to perform a number of hits from 10-11 pm, but the crowd was left reeling when the Kant Nobody hitmaker arrived at 10.45 pm and performed a just a few songs before the show wrapped.

Video clips from the event show the crowd chanting "Weezy" as the set is being packed up.

Following the brief set, festival organisers took to Instagram to release a statement apologising for the performance.

"We apologise for Lil Wayne's abbreviated performance. He arrived at the festival at 10:45 and curfew is at 11," the statement read.

It comes following another early exit from Weezy while he performed at Wiltern in Los Angeles earlier this month, where he kicked off the show an hour late before cutting his set short.

He clearly does though. He's always performing full sets at festivals, almost every stop on this tour has looked like they were sick shows, he seemed happy and is performing and sounding great. But the moment anything goes badly it becomes the only thing that has happened and all anyone on here can focus on.

Facts?

He does a tonne of shows every year, now and then he's late or gets pissed off or whatever. Therefore he should retire from performing and clearly hates doing shows. Just love to focus on a few negative instances, even those from years ago when he was all depressed and shit, and ignore the fact that the vast majority of the time the shows go well.
