He is telling us that they pick everything. So they present him with beats and pick the songs for the projects. They say he has so many great songs in the vault, but if that’s true, why aren’t they able to pick 10 decent ones.

I think Wayne, at heart, is a very kind person and wants to deliever for his people. Left to his own devices, it seems to me like he thinks as long as he sounds quirky and experimental and different, then it's good, because it means he is exploring new stuff and keeps it fresh and that's enough.
Ultimately though I do not have the answer either.
