How exactly are songs/albums leaked? and who does it?

Albums are completed and handed in a month before its release date. Here, Universal have to do paper work, get samples all checked out and all the credits and whatever else worked out. Also the CD goes into production and anyone who is working in manufacturing the CD have access to it as well. The issue is almost anyone at the company would have access to the album and you can imagine how many people the album comes across, one of these people could be working for a blog or whatever other agenda they might have to leak it.

How far in advance did the final version of CIII leak?? Was it a month? I remember hearing about it but at the time I didnt care since I had just discovered the Squad Up Mixtapes.

week and a half to be exact, it leaked May 30, 2008 and came out June 10, 2008...smart idea with the summer release dates tbh, alot of students that have summer break will cop CIV jus like CIII, summer banger...
