I'd also rather see Wayne work with Bruno than BEP. 100%.
lol nah I doubt anybody over there is worried like that...or scrambling to get a hit. ESPECIALLY after they let wayne put out songs like John and 6'7 as singles...and nothing mainstream. Wayne is doing what he wants, I think.

the mainstream single is the single that is about to drop... and as far as I can gather it only has Wayne on it

Wayne got some wack singles sometimes. The first single of Tha Carter III was about to be "Showtime" instide of "Lollipop", and that would affect all the succes C3 had. If I remember right, "the only reason" was about to be a "single" on tha Carter III (I read it somewhere). "Prostitute" would have been one of the first Carter III, but that one would have been great for the ladies.
I just want to say that, Wayne's singles don't reflect the album, "Fireman" was dirty south, but the album wasn't all that. "Lollipop" was pop champagne mainstream talk shit, but the album wasn't all that.
"John" is talkshit banger, and the album will not be all that. I just say that because, seing at "A milli" ; "Got Money" & "Lollipop", the singles, I didn't excpected great soulfull songs like "shoot me down" ; "tie my hands" ; "misunderstood". So the single selection has an impact in the sales, not ie the quality of the album, so fuck that shit Lol CIV will not have CIII's succes, that was an album apart, in a single context.

Its hard for me to pin point CIV's success. On one hand, he will sell over 500K but then again he needs that huge mainstream hit to think about going over 800K.

LMAO it really doesn't matter how popular that song gets, C4 will never sell 800k. Next single will determine if it will hit the 500k point.
