Re: Sorry For The Wait Discussion/News Thread
Probably the worst Wayne mixtape tbh. Shit sucks. Why the fuck he going soft as a bitch on a mixtape? Marvin's Room... really? Rolling In The Deep.... really? What happened to the Wayne that used to just give us like 15-20 songs with him ripping each one? Dafuck. Honestly didn't even keep the whole mixtape on my computer tbh. Major disappointment overall.
Tunechi Back = Dope. But his lyricism seemed to dumbed down tbh.....
Rollin' = Dopest track on the tape + dopest I heard from Wayne in a minute.
Throwed Off = Cool minus Gudda lame ass. Switch that whack flow up Gudda, omg. Stop with those shitty punchlines too, thanks.
Gucci Gucci = Dig it, nothing great though. Love the original, and the beat hasn't been used by people, so its refreshing to hear a rapper on it... and do good. Voice was annoying though.
Marvin's Room = This is not mixtape Weezy, get this shit the fuck out. Should've sent this straight to the trash bin, this song is boring.
Sure Thing = Wasn't feeling it, erased it quick as hell.
Grove St. Party = When I was told he did this beat a few weeks ago, it was actually one of my most anticipated on the tape, Wayne X Lil Bars... enough said. But it was a let down. Lil B swagged out. Would've rather him and Wayne on a soulful beat spitting real shit though....
Racks = Cool remix.... some whack ass lines though. Nothing too impressive in the song. Wanye would've tore this beat the fuck up a few years ago though.
Hands Up = I do like the song, but its nothing special.
Sorry 4 The Wait = Again, I think the song is cool. But what's up with these lame ass beats? Wtf...... Look back at all his old mixtapes.. Him spitting on the hardest beats out and just ripping them.
Inkredible Remix = Fux with this song. Features on point, besides 2nd verse. Wayne went in.
IDK = Whatever the fuck that was, went straight to the recycle bin lolz.
Overall = Weak Wayne tape. Average mixtape. Some of those beats were terrible. I felt like his lyricism and flows were not that good. NC and past mixtapes (Not to compare them) was him using top notch lyricism on every line and switching up dope flows all throughout the mixtape, this mixtape didn't have either for me throughout.
Fuck you if you don't agree. Read a few things on here, and you Wayne stans need to just step back and realize how terrible this is for a Wayne mixtape. You're all only freaking out about it and whatnot because the fact you got so many Wayne songs at once. Half of you will comment on the mixtape again in a month+ and say how it really isn't good. I remember thats how it was when IANAHB came out. I gave my feedback (Said album wasn't that good) and everyone was like "He killed it, stop hating on Wayne blah blah blah!!!" Then the same people comment on it months later saying it was weak lololol. But who cares about overhypers. I'm really disappointed in Wayne, very disappointed. Mixtape Weezy has NEVER disappointed me, and it has finally happened in 2011 after all of these years listening to Wayne. Smh.
