However you rate the mixtape you should NOT care.. The main point is C4.. He was perfecting C4 and recording this mixtape so these are just tracks until the album is out .. Stop comparing it to anything other.. Flow, lyrics, beat whatever just listen until C4 is out!!
after listening to the mixtape over and over and staying away from any comments from people i have realized this
This was no dd3 nor was it nc.
dd3 was made to hype wayne up as the next big thing.
nc was to show that he still had it amidst all the talk that he was on some rock shit.
This tape SHOULD have been a preview into the carter IV but instead it was made in a week or so as just something to ride in the whip till the CD DROPS..
this tape was "just for fun". He put people like Lil B and those other blood reps on the inkredible remix... he rapped for no more than 2:30 on every single song.. this tape wasn't meant to be a classic... but just something quick to bang out to
we wont be seeing NC material ever again.. esp. with his talk of slowing down. UNLESS he quits, gets made fun of, and comes back to PROVE something.
