I thought this was Wayne's best song in a while but this makes me disappointed that it was recorded three years ago and not post jail. Thought Wayne was still spitting like that.

It's defo one of his better songs in a while, but still I can understand where he is coming from and as much as I like it, I feel it could have been better as well. Oh well still a tune. As for Carter IV being pushed forward to 22nd, makes no difference what so ever to me, having to wait these couple of months is killing me, giving it a week earlier makes no difference after waiting that long imo!

P.s - I really don't think he would sit there and lie about a song, he don't give a fuck what people think so he would have no motive to lie about it being for C3 instead of C4. Plus as someone else stated the Syrup line in it makes sense for C3 era.

What about the last two verses of NOTB? I know he had the first verse in 2010 but he coulda made the other ones post November.

Swizz made the beat for Em's Relapse which dropped May 15, 2009.
And Em didn't want to do the song so Swizz gave it to Wayne.

Recording sessions for the album took place during 2007 to 2009

So Wayne could have recoded it as early as 07.

Ofc Wayne is lying. Swizz sent the beat to Em in 2009. Em refused it and Wayne made the song in 2010.
But I understand him.
If I don't like a song, I will also say it was a leftover from my last album.

Y'all niggas silly. I agree with his thoughts on the song itself though. Not up to par of what I'd expect NOW if he did that concept.
