I've read some of the thread and just have two things to say.

1) Curren$y does NOT owe his career to Wayne.. Curren$y put in the effort and work HIMSELF.. not Wayne.

2) Curren$y is comfortable where he's at, and doesn't want/need anyone like Wayne to bring him to the mainstream.

the entire premise of his current run was built off the strength of "that dude that used to be with Wayne"

I dont know if i would agree with that, we do not look at Wayne like that dude who was with juve, or baby. If they didnt make a name for themselves on their own, they would not be where they are.

1) Of course. Just like Wayne owes Baby/Slim, Drake owes Wayne, J. Cole owes Jigga.. etc.

2) I don't know exactly what hes thinking or what he wants, but hes made it known hes comfortable where he' at.

Shiiiiit...who doesn't? I do, and if you don't you should...without the original set up from the Hot Boy-Era Cash Money days, there is no basis for Wayne to build on to start his current post-500 Degreez streak...by the time he started making that run, he already had a point of reference in our minds and was a known commodity...there are a thousand random rappers that can rap well strewn all over the world and the internet, and difference between somebody ended up being Spitta or somebody like Elzhi that's super-nice but nobody gives a crap about is a lot of times as simple as a co-sign or a situation that people can associate with them and gives them a blast-off start...if Spitta started off as some complete unknown in '07, he's not where he is today

I dont know why but seeing that vid made me smile. good to see them together. I think they created some underrated magic and should have had a collabo album together (back in the day)
