Drake has revealed some of the guests on his upcoming sophomore album Take Care, dropping October 24th. Rolling Stone recently paid a visit to Noah “40” Shebib’s Toronto, Canada studio, where Drizzy previewed cuts from the fall release.
During the session, Drake played the likely album opener “Shot for Me,” described as a “marvel of melancholy bravado” where he sings, “Bitch, I’m the man.” Rick Ross makes a guest appearance on “Free Spirit” that touts the refrain, “Tat my name on you so I know it’s real,” while Lil Wayne appears on “The Real Her,” a “narcotically woozy love song with detuned pianos.”
Addtionally, Drake revealed that he wants to collaborate with The Weeknd, DJ Premier, Florence + the Machine’s Florence Welch and the xx’s Jamie Smith
knew this was coming....but we got the name of the song too so bonus i guess??
