I just want to say that some people on here go from zero to freaked out in .01 seconds. Chill. The papers shown in the original post just show that there is a pretrial conference to discuss progress and scheduling with the court.
That dumbass article makes it sound like they got slapped with some "GET YOUR ASS TO COURT" order from the a judge with cops to enforce it.
Mainly though, I don't get how:
1. A suit is filed, and a TON of people on here start saying "Quit stealin' beats!", "This is gonna cost a bunch of $$$". A suit is allegation, so stop jumping all the way to reacting to some ASSUMPTION that they did whatever.
2. There's no details given at all about exactly what the copyright violation even was, specifically. It's not "stealing a beat". It's more complicated law that.
