Who is this dude? I was snooping around in the #Carter4 Trend on twitter and he says he is putting out a Track By Track review of the Carter 4 in a bit..hmm..Idk if he is telling the truth but I mean if he is I wouldn't mind reading it. I'll update this post as time goes on..
Edit..Here it is! Believeable?
Review Of The Carter 4: -- Track By Track -- Released on August 29th.
Here ya go. No album out yet, but here is the first official review of the Carter 4. I'm not a writer so I apologize if it's not "Professional". Don't ask me for lines from the album because I do not want to spoil a lot of it for you. And please remember you are NOT forced to read this !
1. Intro - Wayne SPAZZES the fuck out. Talks for a second and then just GOES in. He is getting you prepared for what could be the album of the year. Some of the sickest lines that people will be posting all over Twitter when it drops and some sick flow wayne has on this one. This proves right here why he is "The Best Rapper Alive". 8/10
2. Blunt Blowin - Oh No, this one right here has a hard ass beat, some nice bass to it and really is something you can ride around to and bump. This is the type of Wayne I know a lot of people have been missing. Lyric wise it's decent, and flow wise it's fucking crazy. I give this one a 8/10.
3. MegaMan - HOLY SHIT..All I have to say about this one. You wanted "Wayne's World"..Here ya go..He was right about the "Make other rappers want to quit" statement. Lyric Wise it's amazing, flow wise it's unexplainable and beat wise it's untouchable. 10/10
4. 6 Foot 7 Foot (Feat. Cory Gunz)- I'm not going to sit here and explain a song that you can already go listen too..
5. Nightmares Of The Bottom- We have heard some of it, live..Well the official version is outstanding! A lot of people been worried that they may "change" the beat..Nope, it's the same. Wayne did his thing on this one, flow is nice and the lyrics are pretty dope. 7/10
6. She Will (Feat. Drake) - Heard it..everyone has..
7. How To Hate (Feat. T-Pain) - Probably my least favorite song on the album. His lyrics are weak, and his flow is just not "Weezy". The beat is alright but it doesn't "Fit" this album at all..T-Pain holds his own weight though even though the weight wasn't much... 4/10
8. Interlude (Feat. Tech N9ne) - Yup, RAWWWW! Lyrically it's amazing. Tech holds it down though. He outshines Wayne on this track. Surprised Wayne let that happen. The beat is kind of annoying to be honest, but it's still a song I will be bumping! The hook is very brief. Tech Spits then Wayne. Tech SHOULD have went last, but it's whatever. 7/10
9. John (Feat. Rick Ross) - Fuck this song..
10. Abortion - Probably one of my favorites on the album. Wayne actually stays on subject throughout the whole song. 3 Verse song with some meaning and the hook is fucking COLD. Beat is mellow and the lyrics TELL a story..You will be surprised on how many plays this has on your Itunes after the first couple days.. 10/10
11. So Special (Feat. John Legend) - Damn, back to back "Deep" songs..Strong! John holds the hook down. Kind of reminds me of Memories Part 2 By Big Sean.. Not the topic of the song, but the hook. Wayne once again is on topic mostly throughout the song. Each verse he raps about someone different that has affected his life..Including his Daughter...9/10.
12. How To Love - uhhhhh okkk?
13. President Carter - Well, i knew he couldn't give us 4 straight songs with some meaning, but this one bangs. The title is deceiving though. Can't lie, before I played this I thought of a Mr. Carter type song. I thought it might be better. It's not, but don't be sad it's still a banger. Beat is nasty, and the lyrics are pretty dope too. Flow reminds me of No Ceilings to be honest...7/10
14. Its Good (Feat. Drake & Jadakiss) - Well, what can I say? Wayne, Drake, and Jada on the same song? Must be good right? YES! Believe me when I say this, Drake spits one of the BEST verses I have ever heard out of anyone in a long ass time. He even might do PART of the hook..His verse gave me fucking chills. Jada is alright in the song, nothing special and Wayne does him..just because of Drakes verse though I give it a 9/10
15. Outro (Feat. Bun B, Nas, Shyne & Busta Rhymes) - Shyne is fucking awful. The song is good, Wayne has some hard punches and Busta might rap faster than what he did on look at me now...Nas spits some fire and Bun B just does Bun B haha. This one will get some plays and a lot of people will probably be disappointed but i mean it's whatever. I'm playing it right now to be honest haha..
Conclusion: This album is a Classic to me! I can't compare it to Carter 2 because that was a "Different Wayne" but I will say it's better than The Carter 3. He actually has some substance in this thing. You honestly can tell he worked hard at this, you can tell he was "Hungry" for his spot back..He wanted to give the people what THEY wanted and he did. Don't let these singles that have been released a view on what the entire album to be honest. The singles probably are the worst songs on the album. A LOT of people will be surprised by this shit. He did what he had to do and I think a lot of people will begin to start listening to him again. Wayne Went in and This will be played out my speakers for the next couple weeks...or..months lol! Respect to Wayne and his crew for putting together this album. It was well worth the wait! I have yet to hear the deluxe version though, I apologize.. Later tho and keep it real. AUGUST 29th COP THE ALBUM. You Won't Regret It!
