They don't but they somewhat do to an extent. I mean, Wayne obviously is doing something right if 1,000,000 people buy his album. I think he'll easily hit the 1 million mark. And if Gaga has to sell her album for 1 dollar, and is a pop star for young girls to sell a million, that's fucked. Nope, cause quality is subjective and depends on the person...but it does reflect who's running shit as far as popularity goes. If sales dnt reflect the quality of music, why else do we as fans but his music. i dnt buy it because the album cover looks nice or because he wears cool clothes, or a few lines he spit were nice. I buy it because the quality of the music is great and his rap style is the best to me. Quality has a lot to do with sales. I wouldn't buy any album if it sounds distorted or the quality was bad, thats a waste if my money. I'm sure many millions of fans agree.
