How much did gaga sell first week?

and we should get a Worldwide number too for Wayne's C4.

She sold a little over 1 Mill I believe but for one or two days in her first week she sold the album through Amazon for 99cent, which in my eyes is cheating... OK if she wants to give it away for 99cent her choice and yeah may be tactics but I'm sorry I will always say she only got over a Mil first week because of those two days where she sold it so cheap that even if you didn't really care for her you would buy it for that.

Wayne probably would have doubled his first week sales if he sold it for 99cent. You can't compare his and her sales. Wayne smashed it, she cheated!

A lot but not because more people would buy it, the fans would buy MULTIPLE copies. I know I would... Id by 5 for the fin and still made a great deal for a album lol.

Once again Gaga had nothing to do with the Amazon marketing plan it was soley Amazons choice and Lady Gaga's label had no clue they were going to do it. That being said Gaga still would've pushed those units because they would've shipped out enough units to serve the demand, same way YMCMB did with C4 and hence the big sales. Like we saw with many rappers last year that sold fuck all they complained there label didn't push enough units out to retailers because they thought it wouldn't sell past 50-90k.

Anyway C4 still did beast, and killed WTT.

I believe Amazon shifted 300k units for her, it was a tactic to get there AmazonMP3 store more known so it could compete with iTunes..pretty smart tbh

Ha yeah see near half of the sales through Amazon, and yeah don't get me wrong it's good tactic but still if they hadn't done it with her album then imo she wouldn't have got #1 first week sales with her album. Oh well, just saying lol
