Drake is top 5 right now IMO, Wayne was top 3 04-09, but Rick Ross, enjoyable as his music is, can never be considered anywhere near the top until his lyrics evolve from nursery rhymes.

but sadly its not supported lyrically at the moment. i think when people talk about being the best, they arent referring solely to album sales/downloads. That would make you the most successful, but not necessarily the best.

do i think Wayne was the best at one time? yes (between c2 and c3). but at the moment, i'd have to say Eminem is the best out. between very very successful album sales and his lyrical talents, its safe to say he's the best out (in my opinion).

that being said, Wayne is still my favorite, and I think he's damn near the top (and in many peoples' eyes he is the best)
