Re: Wayne speaks on his love for Nirvana's Nevermind..
imagine wayne released rebirth as a rap album instead?? like same lyrics but with no autotune and over rap beats, people would say its his best album probably, no one thinks it is because all they hear is autotune and guitar instead of lyrics (people ooutside of this forum)

I Would love to see Rebirth 2.
What he needs to do is record a awesome rap album, then get a band (his live band perhaps) to just turn all the instrumentals rock like (almost like his live shows)

I wouldn't like a rebirth 2, I mean the lyrics were good but I don't listen to it that much as I listen to his real rap songs because I don't feel the vibe of it

Re: Wayne speaks on his love for Nirvana's Nevermind..
this is what i love about Wayne: he represents a point in time of a complete crossover - a melting pot- in music culture. Its not just the fact that he's part gangsta rapper who skateboards and wants to play guitar, but the crazy electronics in "i am not a human being" can outdo radiohead, and his crowd might be the most diverse racially and music/social-culturally ive ever seen. basically, he's an artist appealing to a wide range of people. he's a fuckin rapper with long hair for fuck's sake!
i also think rebirth gets an underserved bad rap: just the fact that he did it at all is awesome. yeah, i think most of the album is pretty bad, but knockout and prom queen are fucking excellent - killer singles. he just needs someone better to write the "rock" parts for/with him. someone like me - i could do it. check out my band on facebook(our fucking website server is down right now) if you dont believe me:Heroes of The Open End. I write all the songs.
WEEZY!
