    Celebrity Favorites: Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne doesn't stop. With his Tha Carter IV album only two months old, Young Money President Mack Maine made waves when he revealed to MTV News that Weezy is already 12 songs deep into his next album, I Am Not A Human Being II, and will soon start to work on his second rock album, Rebirth II.

Still, instead of promoting himself, Weezy would much rather focus on the talent around him.

While on the set of Birdman's "Y.U. Mad" video, MTV News asked Tunechi about his next two albums, and he quickly diverted the attention to his artist Drizzy.
"Drake's album Take Care is coming November 15, Nicki is about to start working on her next album," he said before turning to the Female Weezy for an update.
"No name yet. She said she still figuring it out," Nicki responded, never breaking her Lady Wayne character.

Weezy continued to deflect, using the opportunity to plug his own YM artists and Cash Money labelmates. Birdman (Bigga Than Life), Tyga (Careless World), Lil Twist (Don't Get It Twisted) and Bow Wow (Underrated) are all scheduled to release albums before the end of the year.

"Stunna coming out; I'm Not a Human Being II and Rebirth II is so not important right now," Tune said. "We got Twist coming, we got Tyga Tyga coming, and then we have Shanell coming, then we got Bow Wow — that's what's really important. What I'm doing is really never important, actually. I'm a very unimportant guy. It's just me."

I wish he was overly conceited like he used to be as opposed to him being so overly modest now.

They can still be stars while he shines; he doesn't need to downplay two of his upcoming projects just to let his artists shine. Drake and Nicki Minaj have been shining for a while now, and Wayne didn't need to downplay Tha Carter IV to allow them to succeed. They succeed because of the music they make, not because Wayne allowed them to appear "bigger" by ignoring his own projects. Tha Carter IV basically sold a million records in the first week, but that hasn't stopped Nicki and Drake from touring, making new music, etc.

There superstars nigga, Wayne is being a real teamplayer, putting his people in front of him. Whats wrong with that? Yeah he just sold a milli, why would he already promote his shit already? You see Drake or Nicki helping any other people from young money? Nope.

He has always been a team player. On the song on the Da Drought 3 with Juelz, he said that he was working on Curren$y's album BEFORE he said he was working on his album, and at that same time he still called himself the Best Rapper Alive. Why can't he be cocky like he used to be and still be a team player?

You don't see LeBron saying that he isn't important because players like Kobe and Derrick Rose are playing well like he is. I know that they aren't on the same team as King James, but it is really the same idea. You can have multiple superstars; why can't Wayne praise his own work as well as the works of Nicki Minaj and Drake at the same time?

They aren't each others boss, nor anybody elses. Wayne is their boss, it's his job, but still doesn't need to downplay his shit like he was. Just say at the moment there are more important things not nothing i do is important bla bla bla.
