Cause we hated Rebirth also when it dropped.
Only now, after C4, we realized that it's good.

After some time yes, but no way after C4.

For now, I'd love to hear Rebirth II.

This sounds like it could really be something. If detail goes back and really takes some inspiration in making. These bests by some all time great rock bands the production could be insane. I would like to see both detail and wayne actually work with some of those old bands to not only make an old sound into a newer vibe but to make a new sound all together. I'm sure some guys like Keith Richards or ozzy or Brett michaels or tommy lee would be more than willing to do work with them to make a kick ass project. Would also love to see some live band recording. The band at his concerts always does a great job at his concerts giving it a rock concert type feel almost. I feel like if he actually took time to make fuse the sounds rebirth 2 could be a lot better than the first.

Cool and Dre's beats were good. I really don't think he needs a straight rock sound. He's a rapper doing rock. Hip Hop is always going to be a part of what he does, in some way.

I like his production on Rebirth for the most part. There wasn't damn thing wrong with it, IMO.

lol i it's super close between the 4 for me tbh, Carter 2 will always be my favorite, C3 was 3rd but it slipped into 2nd spot, it's definitely got a few classics
and rebirth and C1 are so underrated, it's hard to rank those 4 actually.
C4 is good, but for me it doesn't come close.

i hope Wayne is on the same shit, mindset wise, for Rebirth 2 as he was for the first one, I was the only person I knew who banged Rebirth for months after it was released.

why would you work with old bands to make a new sound?

looool@ kieth richard ozzy brett michaels or tommy lee.

come on. all shit would sound like ass.
looool. brett michaels or tommy lee. smh.

nah. wayne needs to link up with the black keys.
that way he can make some real fly shit with people that.
have already worked with hip hop artist. and who actually know.
how to make some creative rock music and not some wack ass old shit.

they did all the production on the blakroc album.

and that album is crazy. id love to hear wayne over some funky shit.
i think hed sound right at home over some shit like this.

thats the problem with rebirth production.
it was made by people who had the most basic knowledge.
of how to make rock music. so it came out sounding like top forty pop rock.
instead of something that was actually creative.

listen to that blakroc album and imagine wayne doing what he did on rebirth to those beats.

                        thatd be classic.

                        ugh.

Didn't realised so many people liked Rebirth, I can't handle it at all.

That song where he's on the roof singing to the crowd is one of the worst songs I can think of.
