Lil Wayne and Fat Joe will coach basketball teams as part of NBA superstar Dwight Howard’s D12 Foundation’s All-Star Celebrity Weekend taking place in Orlando this Sunday.
Friends, collaborators and huge sports fans, Weezy and Joey Crack will get to coach NBA players such as Vince Carter, Matt Barnes, Gilbert Arenas, Trevor Ariza and former pro Penny Hardaway.
Howard, who’s still on break due to the much-maligned NBA lockout, took to his Twitter yesterday to thank the rap heavyweights for coming through.
“This weekend is going to be crazy,” Howard tweeted. “I got my coaches @LilTunechi and @joeycrackts coming through! Preciate that fellas.” –Mark Lelinwalla
