@Sportz... you seem like a pretty intelligent dude. Why do you think you will ever see La La La and Pray to the Lord from Lil Wayne again?

He changes his style every few years... he has fully embraced the mainstream where he puts together non-sequitur lines that are good for nothing but updating your facebook status...

his deep shit is behind him because hes not on drugs... there is no spark of creativity. There is no need to become the biggest star in Rap anymore... he seems bored with that shit. I am gonna be pleasantly happy with any new Weezy music because I know this nigga is just gonna say the same old shit over hopefully really dope production and an improved flow.... his presence on a track instantly makes it better and his true flow is unparalleled.

If he was back on drugs... not promoting his cliche clothing line, sub-par YMCMB artists and skating 10 hours a day ... maybe you would get the REAL him. But really... what's real and interesting about a fanny pack snow boot wearing 29 year old who carries a toy skateboard to the grammies like a man-purse?

The fact of the matter is that he probably DOESN'T CARE ANYMORE.... he probably just wants to chill with his family and continue to make money through different outlets and kick flip off a mountain of money.

I refuse to believe that drugs made Lil Wayne the rapper he was. Effort and meticulousness made Lil Wayne. He needs to get back to being more thoughtful and thorough.

That is no evidence. Do they not teach you what evidence is in "Louisiane?" That is the worst non sequitur evidence I have ever seen. You are saying that because he fell off after jail when he supposedly is off drugs, drugs must be responsible for the fall off. You are accounting for one of millions of possible reasons for his lack quality music.


For instance, I used to play football (hard to believe, I know). Let's say I used to get all 97s on tests. Now that I stopped playing football, I get 96s on tests. Clearly the reason I get a lower score is because I stopped playing football.

Ion't think it's the drugs. He snapped fresh outta jail. Aside from C4 and a few features Wayne was on last year. Say what you will about S4TW, but if those were actual features no one would be mad at 'em.

It was mostly the slow ass flow that turned people off, I'm guessing. And a few stand out wack punchlines.
