These niggas just signing every motherfucka around
Slaughterhouse and g.o.o.d music are good labels but at the same time, it also matters about making money and cash money probably gives the biggest PUSH out of all of those labels.
Many artists couldn't care less about mainstream appeal
That's why YM and CM don't have any good up and comers hip hop artists, they care more about the quality of their music than mainstream appeal/money
Re: These niggas just signing every motherfucka around

Re: These niggas just signing every motherfucka around
I have question tho, if they don't contribute much, does that mean CM would be wasting money for nothing? Do you have to spend more for the more people u sign?
Most of their signings are neither guaranteed to be profitable nor are they really marketable.
Idk what YMCMB you lookin at.
Well they don't seem to be signing quality artists, Cory Gunz has a bit of talent but the rest are pretty bad. Drake and Nicki are profitable pop stars.

Cory is not the only good person on the roster. Drake(idk WTF you were talkin bout in that other thread) and Nicki are both talented, and neither was a sure thing when they first started fuckin with Wayne.
Busta is talented, and he's no sure thing himself. The more I listen to Original the more I realize Mystikal isn't bad either, once I get past his style. He's surely no sure thing. I barely know who he is myself, outside of Shake It Fast.
I'm not gonna go through the whole roster, but the only "bad" artists are T-Streets and Birdman himself. If you really think everyone on the roster is bad you must not be a fan of too many people in the game. But given you're a MF Doom fan, I don't know why I'm even typing this...

I forgot about Busta, I like a lot of his stuff. What was I talking about in the other thread? I just don't like that much pop rap I guess, different strokes for different folks.
What does MF Doom have to do with it?

Please define "pop rap" for me. Because I'm pretty sure the only one in YMCMB making pop rap right now is Nicki.
